The Ocean

Boedi was afraid of the ocean at first. I don't know if it was the noise or because we would run from it to avoid getting wet but once we started to play in it he loved it.

My brother took this shot of Boedi jumping over the wave (well ripple).

Redwood Forrest in Northern California.

Standing in the tree looking up.

My parents property in Oregon. Boedi loved the room roam.

Well as people have pointed out (Melissa) I haven't blogged in a long time so I started going through my pictures and couldn't decide where to start again. I also realized we haven't really done anything. So here is a sample of how we have spend the last 4 months or so.

TRADITION!!!

Boedi carried on some family traditions this summer. My grandma is a marimba player, yep I said Marimba, and as a kid I have great memories of playing them. Boedi loved playing them and hearing the music that he and my grandma made. He also was able to go on a golf ball hunt in her front yard he found five easily and brought them back to Dad. There is something fun about watching your kids relive your childhood memories.

Brotherly Love

So after being worried about Boedi having a hard time liking little Dylan I now have new worries. Boedi loves him so much that it's all I can do to keep him off of Dylan. He loves to kiss and hug and lay on him. He insists on helping carry him around the house and when Dylan is in the car seat. (yes awkward!) Overall life is great...of course I can say that now...they are both sleeping :)

Nature vs Nurture

Boedi has a little nature and quite a bit of nurture for his love for basketball but baseball is more nature than nurture and has been swinging this bat from the first time he picked it up. What will we do when summer ends?
