Boedi carried on some family traditions this summer. My grandma is a marimba player, yep I said Marimba, and as a kid I have great memories of playing them. Boedi loved playing them and hearing the music that he and my grandma made. He also was able to go on a golf ball hunt in her front yard he found five easily and brought them back to Dad. There is something fun about watching your kids relive your childhood memories.

Brotherly Love
So after being worried about Boedi having a hard time liking little Dylan I now have new worries. Boedi loves him so much that it's all I can do to keep him off of Dylan. He loves to kiss and hug and lay on him. He insists on helping carry him around the house and when Dylan is in the car seat. (yes awkward!) Overall life is great...of course I can say that now...they are both sleeping :)

Dylan Murdoch Miskin
We had our baby! Dylan Murdoch Miskin was born on Monday June 29th at 12:31pm. He was 7lbs and 10 0z ( I guessed it exactly - 2 min before he was born :) He was 20 1/2 in long. His middle name is Darien's mom's maiden name and Dylan is one we just liked. We are all doing great. I couldn't ask for Boedi to be better brother. He is excited and already makes sure that Dylan has a car wrapped in his blanket and wants to hold him. Grandparents are a wonderful thing and I'm not sure life will be so great when they leave but we are enjoying ourselves now.
